1. Are the courses and the AI output verified by experienced clinicians?

Yes. Ripple only offers clinician-developed courses. Every scenario is designed by our team of physicians, nurses, and clinical experts to ensure it reflects the real-world clinical complexity and emotional nuance. 

Our AI output is strictly evidence-based. To ensure coaching remains accurate, Ripple's team of advisors and curriculum experts regularly audit the AI's responses against validated patient-centered communication frameworks. The rigorous oversight ensures that the feedback remains clinically sound, consistent, and aligned with the highest standards of care over time.

2. Do AI simulations provide medical advice or make clinical recommendations?

No. Ripple Health AI is a communication training tool, not a clinical decision support system. Our purpose is helping you master interpersonal communication and skills that are applicable across nearly every clinical scenario, such as de-escalation, empathy, and collaborative dialogue.

While scenarios during the training include realistic medical context, Ripple does not provide clinical advice or replace professional medical judgment. Our goal is to provide a safe, low-stakes environment to refine the soft skills that drive better patient outcomes and build the resilience needed for career longevity.

NOTE: Our models assess the delivery and impact of your communication. They do not evaluate the accuracy of clinical information provided by the learner.

3. Are learner's interactions with AI simulations recorded or stored? How is my personal data protected, and who has access to my performance scores?

To ensure proper CME/CE credit allocation, transcripts are retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted. Ripple maintains high-standard training in a fully private, secure setting and will never share your personal data with third-party AI providers. Additionally, access to individual performance scores is shared only with you, preserving a psychologically safe environment for your practice and growth.

4. How does Ripple ensure the AI simulation is fair and free from clinical bias? 

Ripple Health’s AI simulations are trained on large language models with diverse datasets  designed to mitigate bias. We further integrate Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), where clinical experts review AI outputs to ensure simulations promote equity and clinical empathy.

Furthermore, to maintain commercial independence, our AI personas are trained never to voluntarily mention brand names, medications, or insurance providers. This ensures your training remains focused exclusively on objective, patient-centered communication, free from societal bias or commercial influence.

5. We have existing communication standards. Can Ripple align with our specific institutional culture?

Yes. Ripple Health AI simulations can mirror your specific institutional protocols and clinical reality. Whether your company prioritizes certain de-escalation techniques, patient satisfaction goals, or specialized handoff standards, we can calibrate our feedback engines and scenarios to reflect your unique patient demographics environment. 6. How do you ensure compliance with HIPAA? Is protected health information of any kind used in the modules?

Ripple Health AI’s products and services are not subject to HIPAA compliance. While scenarios, personas, and clinical details are designed to be true-to-life, they are all invented, and do not incorporate protected health information from real people. Any similarities to persons living or dead, or actual events, is purely coincidental.
